Terms of Service
Last updated August 22, 2026
flop52 is a free, play-money poker learning platform. These Terms explain the rules for using it. There is no real money, no gambling, and no rake.
1Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using flop52 (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by any policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and flop52 and describe how the Service operates. We may update them as the Service evolves; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
flop52 is a skill-development and entertainment product. It is not available where its use would be unlawful, and you are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.
3Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
You may not share, sell, or transfer your account, and you may not maintain multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, leaderboards, streaks, or rewards. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4Play-Money Only — Not Gambling
flop52 uses virtual, play-money chips that have no monetary value, cannot be cashed out, redeemed, or exchanged for real money or anything of value, and are provided solely for learning and entertainment.
There is no wagering of real money, no payout of real money, and no rake. Because no real-money stakes are involved, the Service is not gambling. Any in-app balances, bonuses, or rewards are part of the game experience only.
5AI Opponents
Some opponents on flop52 are operated by us rather than by other people. Bot practice and the Gauntlet are explicitly AI, and in ranked and casual matchmaking you may also be paired with an AI opponent — for example when no suitable human opponent is available. AI opponents appear alongside human players, and their ratings, statistics and leaderboard positions come from matches they have actually played.
Because flop52 is play-money only, nothing of value changes hands in any match, against a person or against an AI opponent. We do not use AI opponents to influence spending, and there is nothing to spend.
The restriction on bots in section 6 applies to software you run against other users. It does not restrict opponents we operate as part of the Service.
6User Conduct
You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automated agents against other users, collude, harass other players, or otherwise interfere with the fair operation of the Service.
You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, and not to upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
7Intellectual Property
The Service, including its curriculum, puzzles, software, branding, artwork, and design system, is owned by flop52 or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain rights to content you create, but you grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.
8Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any rating, analysis, or guidance will produce particular results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, flop52 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be directed to our support channels.
